Hi,
I updated my Windows from Windows 10 Education to Windows 11 Home in January. I recently started using my laptop again (maybe even the first time since the update). I have been getting a very annoying and continuous loud beeping noise from the laptop. It sounds like something you'd get when there's a system error (more like a fire alarm, though), except this is like it's coming directly from the motherboard. It is continuous for about 30 - 50 seconds and stops and starts randomly and does not stop, even though my laptop has been on mute.
I have been through all the posts in this community center and know this might be a hardware issue. However, I wanted to check and see if there was anything I could do to fix the problem at home and not spend a lot of money on the fix.
I have already checked the BIOS settings to see if the computer can detect any hardware issues, but all the tests have passed a couple of times already.
Any help is very appreciated.
Thank you.
