hi uh when i get into zoom calls and stuff I use f12 to mute my mic cause im kinda paranoid that i might unmute my mic without myself knowing and i realized that when i unmute zoom it also unmutes f12 can i make it so that it wont unmute f12 aswell

As per the keyboard, functionality for MUte  is F8 with the picture printed on the keyboard,

 

I have checked in Zoom shortcut keys, I did not find F12 for mute.

sorry late reply 
its actually f12 on my keyboard
there is a orange light when its on and none if off
when i click unmute on zoom or go to the audio tab in settings it automatically turns off
