When starting up my laptop, I get an error "Failed to create Conexant Audio Factory, The Smart Audio will not exit" I'm up to date on my drivers, etc. I have sound and I can click on OK to close the error message but it's annoying.

I have same. HP advice followed but does not solve the issue. My laptop says smart audio is working ok, so why the continuous warnings? Other advice says remove program and reboot laptop; new program will automatically start, but I am scared to try. Solutions
