Product: Folio 9470m

Hello I have an HP Folio 9470m and the speakers are not very loud since I updated to Windows 10, I tried to FXsound, and it doesn't match the experience, I searched online and nothing helps. What can I do to fix this problem with the speaker not being loud? On Windows 7 they sound loud and good updating to windows 10 they are all quiet even to maximum volume.

Hi:

 

That is a known problem with W10 and the IDT audio your notebook has.

 

See if the info in this discussion is of help to you--especially toward the end of the discussion.

The person had to enable a BIOS setting too (see the next to the last reply in the discussion).
