Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Connected the laptop to a Vizio TV with HDMI but no sound comes out of the TV. It works fine with a monitor w/speaker. Visio checked everything on their end and said the problem is the laptop settings and I need to ask for HP support to check the laptop settings. I have 9 more months left on my warranty and Cust. Support in some unknown Pacific island said it was out of warranty. Does anyone know what to check? I looked in Control Panel for device setting and only see a Realtek speaker and Microphone Array in Audio outputs.

Additional info: HP says this laptop is built to connect to certain brands and devices, but not a Vizio TV. For only $14.95 a month plus $30 setup fee, they will add something into the laptop that will allow it to connect the audio. NO THANK YOU HP!!!! Had I know this before buying this laptop, I never would have.
