I HAVE LOST AUDIO ON MY HP G61 AFTER AN UPDATE, I HAVE TRIED TROUBLESHOOTING, DRIVERS AND EVERYTHING I CAN THINK OF. THE SYSTEM SAYS ALL AUDIO DEVICES ARE WORKING PROPERLY BUT OBVIOUSLY SOMETHING IS NOT SO EITHER THERE IS A MOBO FAULT OR AUDIO HAS BEEN DISABLED IN BIOS, THERE ARE NO AUDIO SETTINGS SHOWING IN THE BIOS SO IS IT POSSIBLE THERE ARE HIDDEN SETTINGS AND IF THERE ARE HOW DO I OPEN THEM?

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I would like to inform you that there are no hidden features for the audio in BIOS. I recommend you perform a system restore on the computer back to the date when the audio was working fine.
Follow the steps in the below article to perform a system restore.
