Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi my wife's new hp 15z-fc000 internal microphone is not working. I've been through all the hp tools, walkthroughs, windows trouble shooting as well as uninstalling the drivers in device manager and nothing seems to work. It detects the microphone as stero mix with a realtek driver but does not detect any input from it.
