HP 2013 Ultraslim Docking Station Audio

Hello,

Like most people who have sent messages to this community a few years back, I also have an issue where no audio comes through the docking port.  I have an HP Zbook that I connect to the Ultraslim and then to an HP exernal monitor with speakers.  A few responses indicate that the latest docking station firmware is 2.33 or 2.34; mine is still 1.00.  I would like to download and install the latest firmware on my docking station but I can't find it anywhere on the HP support website.  Can someone let me know where it is now located, if anywhere?

My update: I did find the firmware version 2.30; however, when I attempted to install it, the error log said the version was already 2.30.  So, I'm back to square 1 trying to solve the sound issue with the Ultraslim docking station.  Anyone have any ideas?

Update #2: I did some extensive research and found that my AMD-powered HP notebook worked just fine with audio through the ultraslim docking station, where my intel-powered Zbook does not.  I also found some misinformation regarding DisplayPort.  There are statements on the web that state that no audio goes through Displayports like it does with HDMI.  That's not true, as I setup a single Displayport connection (minus the Ultraslim docking station) to my HP monitor and the sound went through with no problems with my Zbook and with no additonal audio cable.  I did some extensive updating of the Intel Display Audio driver and Bios on the Zbook, and upgraded the ultraslim docking station firmware with version 2.33.  I am pretty much out of ideas at this point and am beginning to think there are compatibility issues with connecting a Zbook to the ulgraslim docking station.  If anyone has any ideas at this point please let me know.  Thanks,
