my hp 620 has no audio it tells me that i need to install the high definitiion driverhow can i download the driver and install it

Hi:

 

Your notebook is not supported for operating systems beyond W7.

 

There is no W8.1 audio driver for your notebook.

 

The only suggestions I can offer are these:

 

1.  Try the W8.1 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook...

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64107.exe

 

2. If that doesn't work, try the W7 IDT audio driver from your notebook's support page.

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp47501-48000/sp47808.exe
