I hate being my own tech support during WFH.
I bought an HP Chromebook 14 (either 14-ca061dx or 14-CA06ldx - but it's black, not blue). It's running v 80.0.3987.162.
My office uses Google email and calendar and hangouts, so I thought it would work.
I'm not getting sound out of the notebook itself, nor out of the wired headphone port. I do get sound via bluetooth speakers (when my bluetooth headphones/earbuds work). Sticker on the Chromebook says B&O Play, but I haven't found any setting for B&O Play.
What am I missing? Where should I look?
Thx, LoriRode

@lorirode Here's a few things you can do:
Wrong output device selected - go to Status menu > click on the arrow next to the volume slider > click on internal speaker output or headphone or other device. NOTE: The active audio node depends on previous selection you've made, and the status (active/inactive) when previously unplugged.
Thus if you unplug the headphone jack at time you listen to the Internal speaker(being selected manually from the audio menu), next time you plug the headphone jack you'll still hear the internal speaker, till you manually switch to Headphone.
- Make sure sound isn't muted:
- At the bottom right, select the time.
- Adjust the volume using the slider.
- Unplug audio devices (like headphones or speakers) from your Chromebook.
- Reset your Chromebook.
- Recover your Chromebook.
