ENVY 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Everything was working fine and then suddenly people stopped hearing me on zoom/skype/teams.

When I run a sound test it says 0 level of sound detected

- Tried doing a recording and nothing was detected. However, performing a sound test with a headset works fine

- I have uninstalled the driver and rebooted. Updated the driver

- reinstalled windows 10

- I have done a hard reset

- installed AMD RADEON

- All system and software update is completed including the BIOS

- Troubleshooting says all is fine with the microphone, but it still won't work.

- The PC is just about a month old

- Called in three times to speak with an agent and all the steps they performed has not fixed the issue.

what else can I do?

Hi @lizzzza

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

Have you tried using alternate earphones/headphones with a mic to check if that works?

Check for Windows update and install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Also, perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
