Elitebook 820 G3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an audio problem with my Elitebook.

It is an Elitebook 820 G3.

Prod Id: T9X46EA#ABN

I think it is driver related.

I had rich and good audio with good bass.

I got an automatic notice about an driver update.

After this install the audio has been relay bad and miss all the bass and deep tones.

If I download the lates audio driver frim HP, I get that there is something wrong and this B&O task program must stop.

I have tride varous drivers found on internet, but no luck.

The driver update installed a Microsoft driver, but I am pretty sure it is a Conexant Smartaudio HD device.

What I have now is an older HP/conexant driver, but still bad sound.

Of course, things can happen at the same time and it can be hardware related.

Anyone had this issue or have suggestions to solution?

I enjoy listening to music when I work, but now the sound is just crappy.

I have trided different speakers and headphones.

Also PC directly and different docking stations.

Dear Customer,

uninstall audio drivers from device manager and try installing again after a restart
