Hello, for those who are having an issue with your sound such as, spitting, please follow these tips below.
Please try this first, for me, I went through several unnecessary steps, yet the below method solved my audio spitting problem ASAP.
- Open the Control Panel and click Hardware and Sound.
- Click Sound to open the Sound window.
- In the Playback tab, right-click on the speaker’s name and select Properties to open the Speakers / Headphones Properties window.
- In the Enhancements tab, clear the Disable all sound effects checkbox.
- Press Apply followed by OK.
- Check the speaker again to see how it works.

What EXACTLY is your HP Envy x360 Notebook ? W/o knowing what it is we won't be able to help. Please use the following way to find out the model/product of your machine
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00033108
Please do NOT post its Serial number (s/n).

Hello, I solved my issues and wanted to help others.
I do not want to post my serial number so what other info do you want?
I have a HP Envy x360 Convertible 15m-ed0xxx / Intel i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz 1.50
Again, I have solved my problem and wanted to help others.
Please do not discredit my finding. I feel this will help others who are having this issue.

I have a bad experience with HP envy 360. As soon as it completes 03 years the product it will be out of service and no matter how less you are using or keeping it good, the motherboard will crash for no reason and there will be no support from HP not even paid. So just waste of money on HP laptops. I am not buying again.
