Hello. I have the HP Envy x360. The microphone on the computer is no longer working. It once was but after I completed the an update, the microphone is no longer working. When I got to settings to troubleshoot the microphone, the internal microphone is not an option. The only microphone I see is Headset Microphone Realtek(R) Audio (not sure if this is the computer microphone) and my wireless headset. I have tried to troubleshoot Headset Microphone Realtek(R) Audio is hopes it was the internal microphone but it says the microphone is unplugged. I see the microphone button above the key for number 7. I have pushed this button and pushed it down with fn button and nothing is happening. Please help. I need my microphone for work.

Hi:
There are hundreds of different x360 models.
If and only if, your notebook is one of the x360's (such as the Envy x360 15-ee0XXX) with the AMD Ryzen 4xxx processors, see if this works.
This will not work if your notebook has an Intel processor, and unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you fix the microphone issue if it does.
The microphone is part of the graphics system, not the audio system as one might expect, and a recent Windows update knocked out the microphone.
You should be able to fix the problem by running the AMD Auto-Detect and Install Radeon™ Graphics Drivers for Windows® utility at the top of the webpage below.
https://www.amd.com/en/support
Once the auto detect utility is installed, it will show an option to do a "Factory reset" which will delete, and reinstall all related graphics drivers (it will not remove any other program or app installed in your PC, or affect any of the already existing information). It just resets the graphics system.
