Speakers on my laptop are degrading along the silicon seal around the cone of the speaker. They produce this irritating high pitched rumbling when playing audio. I have tried finding replacements online with no success. I found one from the US, however, I live in India, and I can't really wait OR afford the shipping. Can someone point me towards an official/unofficial replacement or a way to remove the damaged speaker from the plastic enclosure and replace it with a generic speaker?

I found the part number for the audio assembly of the speakers : 720562-001 from this doc page : 88

And I also found this part on Amazon India. Will this work with my laptop?

PS: I do realize that power and data for both the front speakers are driven through this one speaker connector.

@ManoharOfficial Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you would like to replace the speakers.

The part number is correct.

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option.

Or you can contact the local service center for repair.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
