HP Pavilion x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-er0000 (23T75AV)

Suddenly the sound system, speakers and microphone, are not recognized by my laptop. HP Support Assistent cannot solver the problem. No drivers are installed and the system does not recognize system changes.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the lates audio driver HP has for your notebook from the link below:

I have tried this but it does not work. The sound system still is not recognized.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you to try.

Are there any devices in the device manager that are marked with yellow exclamation marks?

HP Recommended

In my device manager I see with other devices a warning at: Intel High Definition DSP

HP Recommended

What is the hardware ID? To be found under:
Device Manager > Intel High Definition DSP > Details > expand hardware ID

HP Recommended

INTELAUDIO\DSP_CTLR_DEV_A0C8&VEN_8086&DEV_0222&SUBSYS_88BC103C&REV_0020

HP Recommended

Download the driver  > unpack it into a folder with an unpacker like 7-Zip > in the Device Manager > Intel High Definition DSP > Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Browse button and select the folder with extracted files from the CAB file > OK > Next > Close
Sometimes a restart is necessary afterwards.

I have tried these steps, but it did not work. I have used UEFI and found out that the microphone is not found anymore. I think the laptop needs a repair of the sound system.

thx for your help
