Dear HP Community!

I have a strange issue with my new HP Spectre X360. Whenever I connect my Apple Airpods 2 to the computer via bluetooth, they usually work fine for a little while. Very randomly though they will randomly stop working so that I don't hear anything anymore, or sometimes a weird buzzing sound similar to a radio interference can be heard. I can usually fix it by heading back into the bluetooth menu or just hitting mute/unmute a few times.

I have no idea what causes this and it can be quite frustrating when trying to listen to music from my computer or watch any videos.

Anyone familiar with this issue and know how to fix it?

Thank you!

@MananJain Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are unable to connect the Bluetooth connectivity.

Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Let's start with the Hard Reset: (To release any excessive static causing the issue).

This method works for a variety of Driver connection and ‘stuck’ program issues.

  • Shut down the computer

  • Disconnect all external devices - everything.

  • Remove AC power and the battery

  • Press and hold power button for at least 30 seconds

  • Reconnect the AC power (only),

  • Power on > Login

  • Next time you shut down the system, reinstall the battery, and follow the below steps.
