My microphone wasn't working recently in a Zoom call. I restarted the computer and then it worked fine. The next day I had the same issue, but a restart didn't fix the problem. I called support and they updated several things on the device. Now there is a horrific echo. I can hear my typing, the computer fan, a pen tapping on the table. It's like the mic is super sensitive to noise and then it's played through the speakers. I can't speak in meetings because of the echo and I can't hear anyone over the sound of my own breathing/ computer fan. Please help...

No, none of that fixed the issue. I'm still getting a lot of echo even when my computer is closed. I have to just mute the sound to get any relief.
