I just bought HP Spectre X360 Convertible 13-ae0xx Product Number 3PT92PA#AR6. Checked my Bang & Olufsen application and didn't find Equalizer there. Googling arround, find some "solution" to update driver, didn't work.
How can I get my equalizer so I can adjust my audio to fit my taste?

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
Please update the Audio driver and BIOS from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-spectre-13-ae000-x360-convertible-pc/16779579/mo...
Next ensure your Windows 10 is up to date.
Select Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.
Also download and run the latest HP Support Assistant and it will search for the latest HP drivers for your Notebook

Glad to have you back.
As @KrazyToad is out of the office today, I'm replying to you.
Install the 2.81 64-bit Windows 10 driver, and you will have the equalizer back. Do not uninstall the present driver, just run the file you just downloaded.
Please restart the laptop once the installation is complete.
If the issue persists then try the Realtek HD Audio software package on the following link.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79501-80000/sp79899.exe
When the installation has completed, restart the notebook.
I genuinely hope this fixes the issue. Feel free to keep me posted.
All the best!

Hi.
I've tried to install 2.81 driver before you suggest it, never work. Everytime I restart my Spectre, it goes back to original driver automatically. Have tried to edit permission of the realtek installation folder to prevent that (I see this trick somewhere), didn't work also.
I will try the Realtek HD Audio software package next time at home. I am at my office currently. Will report the results here.
Thank you.
