Hello there,
Recently I am having issues with my audio/speaker. I did Audio Check, driver check (updated to a newer version following an HP update). But having issues with my Audio. Its giving a cracking sound that I never heard before. I did little diagnostic too, and it seems like the right speaker is producing a creaking sound. Now the question is the time to change the right speaker? or anything else I need to check before I go to that route? Would appreciate any help with this.
Thanks,
KS

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.
(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp103501-104000/sp103860.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.
Regards.
