HP Spectre x360 - 15-df1033dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I'm sure this one is old hat by now, but I'm late to the party and am at my wits end with this.

From the day I bought this computer, a driver called the "Intel (R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) OED" driver is repeatedly crashing for no apparent reason.

Changing audio sources from say, Itunes to YouTube? Crashes. Virtual DJ to some random media file? Crashes? Doing nothing at all? Crashes.

This happened, again, before I upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10, and I've done literally everything including hiring professional HP Support, who even they couldn't figure out what was going on. Uninstall and reinstall drivers, find latest drivers, HP Smart assistant, I mean everything.

The error code I get next to the yellow exclamation icon says "Code 43, FW Dump detected" which generally means the driver itself needs to be updated.

This is driving me nuts and no one can seem to figure out which driver, or no driver, or whatever needs to be done so my audio signal output stops crashing all the time. Someone please find a legitimate fix for this, thank you.
