You almost replied after a week. Was it working before but has now stopped? Did Windows replace it?

Haha, no. I was just ignoring it. I tried some other fixes like installing legacy hardware but it blue-screens. It's still not fixed.

From device manager, check if roll back option is available to get back to previous driver when sound eas working. It should be there if windows replace it.

Still no, it only goes to the generic high definition audio driver.

I’m afraid I’m out of ideas at this point. If you have access to an external speaker, please try connecting it to the laptop to check whether the audio works through it. This may help determine whether the issue is limited to the built-in speakers driver or affects the audio system more generally.
