Maybe, you should go back to  sp148709, drivers for your laptop on the official HP website.

The components that support HP Audio Center, HP Audio Control, Bang&Olufsen Audio Control, BO Audio Control, OMEN Audio Control are these (which I expanded):

Just install sp157063 (Including Realtek(R) Audio 6.0.9788.1, Realtek UAPO2 13.1727.1567.467, Realtek APO 13.0.6000.1505, Realtek service/Realtek Universal Audio Service 1.0.823.7, Driver extension (in the picture) for audio driver 6.0.9788.1, hpaudiocenterhsa.inf/HP Audio Hardware Support Application 11.0.6000.339).

After the installation is complete, restart the laptop!

In Task Manager, is RtkAudService64.exe (Reltek HD Audio Iniversal Service) running or not?

HP Recommended

I get no results when I paste in either of those but when I type in rtk I see part of what you suggest (it's incpmplete because of lack of space it seems) in processes.

.

HP Recommended

Yes, I have found them running.

oh, so that's the problem then.

No wonder, because it should be possible, unless there is a conflict with the OS such as a Windows update or system is corrupted.

HP Recommended

Is it fixable?
