@sanjay7810, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If you are experiencing distorted or "torn" sound from the internal speakers of your HP Pavilion Laptop PC 14-dv0000 (9WF41AV), here are some steps you can take to identify and potentially resolve the issue:

Check Volume Levels:

  • Ensure that the volume is not set too high, as this can cause distortion in the sound output.

Update Audio Drivers:

  • Outdated or corrupted audio drivers can cause sound issues. Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest audio drivers for your laptop model.

Adjust Sound Settings:

  • Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar and select 'Open Sound settings.'
  • Under the 'Device properties,' check the sound balance and ensure it is set to default.

Check Sound Enhancements:

  • In the Sound settings, click on 'Device properties' and then 'Additional device properties.'
  • Under the 'Enhancements' tab, ensure that no unnecessary enhancements are enabled. Sometimes disabling all sound effects may improve sound quality.

Hardware Check:

  • Ensure that there is no physical damage to the speakers. If the issue persists, it might be a sign of hardware failure, and you may need to contact HP support for hardware diagnostics.

Test with Headphones:

  • Plug in a pair of headphones to see if the sound distortion is present there as well. If the sound is clear through headphones, the issue may lie within the internal speakers.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
