does my HP pavilion dv7 laptop have a built in microphone?

What is your HP Pavilion dv7 ? There are many generations of dv7 around but normally yes, your machine should have internal microphone.

 

Many dv7 machine have 2 microphones and one jack for external microphone. Internal microphones are on the top of screen as shown

But your machine could be slightly difference. Again, what is it ?

my Pavilion is a dv7 6163cl. It appears to have 2 pinholes surrounding the camers, but don't work.I can't find any reference to them in the HP assistant, and microphone settings in audio pnly refer to plug-in microphones. Is there any software that I should look for to see if it exists for built in mics?
