HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently re-installed Windows 10 onto my HP Pavilion dv7 after replacing the boot hard drive.  Now my HP Triple Bass Subwoofer is not working, along with the two speakers on the front edge (closest to the trackpad) of the laptop.  Only the speakers above the keyboard (closest to the monitor) are playing sound.

I went to check the audio devices and it only shows two High Definition Audio Devices.  I tried to troubleshoot and it tried to download drivers and then said that the devices have the best drivers available.  The subwoofer does not even show up as a device on the laptop.   I also went into the Bios and tried hitting F9 to reset defaults, but that didn't do anything.   The HP support website doesn't have drivers for my laptop anymore.

Is there anything I can do to restore these speakers and get beatsaudio back?

@CAC777 You may want to test the device to ensure this isn't a hardware malfunction, here's how you do it:

Install the latest version of the HP Hardware diagnostics (UEFI) on your device using this link: Click here for details

Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

Click Extensive Test.

Click Run once, or Loop until error.

While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.

If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.
