I've had my zBook 15 g3 for about a year now, I don't remember when it started but for some reason it isn'tdetecting any audio devices that are in the 3.5mm port.
Audio devices are picked up when plugged in by HDMI, USB or USB-C. The only one that doesn't work is the 3.5mm port.
I used to have a Conexant Audio error, found a solution to that but still it isn't working.
My device isn't Disabled in the Sound manager, it simply is being detected when plugged in.
I have double checked, uninstalled and reinstalled a good portion of the drivers and the problem is still there.
I'm thinking that just getting an adapter for the 1 line 3.5mm to USB will fix the issue since other audio devices are working when plugged in by USB, but I would much rather fix the problem that just find a way around it.
