After updating to the last version of Realtek drivers mic doesn't work correctly. Almost nobody can hear the voice. Also the indicator of the strength of the signal looks like the following

regardless of the max levels of mic

This is a 100% problem with drivers because if I install the last version of drivers from the official Realtek site it works correctly but I am facing the new problem - headset is not recognized by the system!

@Kotstia_pl

Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.

(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,

     https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp100001-100500/sp100428.exe

(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.

Regards.

Thanks, for your advice.

Unfortunately, drivers provided by you don't work correctly. They make an ugly sharp noise before normal voice, for example, if we'd try to record voice using Voice Recorder from WIn10. Also, the last drivers installed from Microsoft Windows Update don't work too. This is very awkward when you can't have an adequate voice in Skype and other apps in the notebook with good hardware configuration as for the home use and last installed Windows 10 with drivers installed through HP  Support Assistant from the box and spent a few days to solve this.

Finally, I have installed these:

1.

rtkvhd64.sys

DriverVer=06/25/2019, 6.0.8742.1

2. rtkauduservice64.exe with corresponding dlls

File version: 1.0.246.1

SHA256: 0AA35B2B7E46C8F8D04BEFCBD2E3FB06F02E094D909EEEB266306672263CD428

3 Realtek Audio Effects Component

rltkapou64.dll

rVer = 12/05/2019,11.0.6000.739

SHA256: CAAEC44DC3C3537631F5CC697379BA54D8EBBFF195BB645CAF3B50CC400C9D6F

and it works correctly!
