Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg2000 IDS Base Model
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am hearing an echo while monitoring recordings using a USB microphone and listening through my headphones.   This is a HP Pavillion Laptop with a i7 Intel core, 16 gigs of memory and plenty of SS drive space running Windows 11 (22h2).   HP techs say there are no hardware issues, but before I have to pay for software service on this only 3 month old unit, does anyone have any ideas on how I can rectify this problem?   My wife bought this for me as a Christmas present long before Christmas and the warranty on software issues and returns ran out before I started working with it.   Now I'm stuck with a device whose sole purpose is to record instruments remotely using USB mikes.    If I can't monitor what I'm recording in real time, this laptop is useless.
