Hello,

 

About 2 wks. ago, my internal sound dropped very low.  I don't recall any changes to my system aside from scheduled updates.  No new apps installed or anything like that.  I've gone through all of the audio trobleshooting steps that I could find-- to no avail.  When I plug in ear buds, the sound is fine, however, when I watch a youtube video or something, I can barely hear it.

See if installing this driver and restarting the PC, will resolve that issue...

 

This package contains the driver that enables the IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
