Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm using headphones on my HP ZBook 15 G3 laptop computer extensively.  But today I realized the sound sounded very mono.  When testing, I hear that the left and right audio channels are hardly separated at all, but are almost 100% mixed.  Now that I'm aware of it, I think music sounds very flat and boring.  Is there somewhere I can configure this, either in a HP startup menu or in Windows 10?

I'm using Marshall hearphones with a stereo + microphone 3,5mm jack plug (microphone integrated in the cable).

I found the culprit.  In the Bang & Olufsen Audio application that came with the audio driver, there is a feature called "Audio Enhancements".  By disabling this feature, the sound becomes true stereo.  Poor design by Bang & Olufsen, IMHO.
