Whenever I have my earbuds plugged in, I continually receive the following two messages, over and over again:
1) B&O - You've just plugged a device into the audio jack
Realtek HD Audio manager
2) B&O - You've just unplugged a device from the audio jack
Realtek HD Audio manager
The messages continue popping up, even though I didn't unplug the earbuds. They will continue (plugged/unplugged) as long as I have the earbuds plugged in. The audio being played is fine, it is just the messages are annoying! Please help me stop the messages.

Hi! @PhxWilsonsKen, Welcome to HP forums.
I understand you would like to know how to disable B&O headphone notification on your PC.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your laptop?
Do you hear the static noise when you plug the headphones into your laptop?
As you mentioned you would like to know how to disable B&O headphone notification from your PC.
Please try the steps recommended below.
Go to Settings > System > Notifications and actions and under Get notifications from these senders, scroll down and turn off Realtek HD Audio Manager.
Open the Realtek HD Audio Manager through the Control Panel.
Click on the lowercase "i" on the bottom right of the Audio Manager window that pops us (just above the OK button).
Uncheck "Display icon in notification area".
Click OK twice to exit the Audio Manager.
Go to Windows Device Manager > Sound, video and game controllers section.
In the list of audio device drivers, look for Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio. This is the device driver for BeatsAudio (a little bit sneaky, wouldn’t you say?).
Right-click and select Disable. The downward arrow displays on this driver, indicating it is disabled. (NOTE: At this point, you won’t be able to play any music files.)
Right-click and select Update Driver Software.
Select Browse my computer for driver software.
Select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
You should see a window that says Select the device driver you want to install for this hardware. NOTE: If you see a window that says something like This is the best driver for this device, exit the window and repeat steps 4, 5, and 6.
In the Model box, highlight High Definition Audio Device (this is the substitute audio device driver) and click Next.
At the Update Driver Warning window, click Yes. You should see a confirmation window with High Definition Audio Device displayed. Click Close.
In the list of audio device drivers in the Sound, video and game controllers section, you’ll notice that the High Definition Audio Device now displays instead of Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio.
At the prompt to reboot, click Yes.
If the issue still persists try the steps recommended below.
If the issue still persists uninstall the audio driver from device manager and install the drivers using HP recovery manager.
Refer this article to know how to restore drivers using HP recovery manager.

No hardware changes were made and I dodn't think any recent software changes were made. No static when I plug/unplug my earbuds.
I was able to turn off the notification from the
I can not figure out how to open the Realtek HD Audio Manager through the Control Panel. In the control panel, all I can find is how to uninstal programs! I didn't do that.
However, it seems just turning off the notification from the Realtek HD Audio Manager did the trick! Now when I plug/unplug the earbuds - there is no notification. I've not received any "false" notifications, either.
Thank you!
