The past week my audio in this notebook started spiking/lagging. I have my external hub plugged into the USB. That is where I have my two monitors and my external speakers connected and I think it uses the USB Audio speaker drivers. But even when I switch to the laptop speakers (Realtek drivers) it is the same. It isn't constant but enough to be annoying. It is almost like it's spiking/lagging if other stuff is going on behind the scenes. 

 

My drivers:

  • Audio inputs:
    • Speaker (USB Audio) / Microsoft / 10.0.22000.1 / 6/5/2021
    • Speaker (Realtek (R) Audio) / Microsoft / 10.0.22000.1 / 6/5/2021
  • Sound, video and game controllers
    • Realtek (R) Audio / Realtek Semiconductor Corp./ 8/18/2020 / 6.0.9008.1
    • USB Audio / DisplayLink Corp. / 2/22/2021 / 10.1.2664.0

I have the latest windows updates and driver updates via the system updates.
