The speaker sounds like its resonating with itself or inside the case at certain audio frequencies. This creates a high pitched distorted tone in the speakers. I've run HP self test to check the speakers and they're working fine. with the B & O audio controller, I tried using different equalizer settings but still run in to the same issue. The issue is mostly there when you're watching a video that has a lot of speaking involved.
I've seen previous posts about this, but they were not resolved. My laptop is also just out of warranty.

Hello, I have this EXACT same issue on my new HP Pavilion 15t-eg000. The sound when watching youtube videos or other videos with lots of talking is becoming unbearable! Mine also has the B&O speakers. I tried all the audio test withing BIOs and using HP's support assist and everything passes fine. I also tried tweaking setting on within Windows 11 and turned on sound optimization ,etc. I've had it for just over 30 days. I've never had a laptop with such terrible sound! My old Asus laptops from 2011 sound much better than this one. I'm going to try to return my laptop even if I have to pay a restocking fee. It's too bad because I waited over 2 months to get it from HP store and the screen looks great. I also don't like the keyboard with the 10 key on the right. It makes typing a chore.
