pavilion dv6-6010st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

 

i have hp pavilion dv6 - 6010st notebook. 

i use windows 10 (64bit)

and i have a problem - question 🙂

 

My beats audio speakers working  after install  "IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio" driver

but just right-down side speaker not working.

(i marked red circle with paint, look attachment picture pls)

 

Why have i this problem? Because wrong driver or mechanic broken? Can you help me please?

 

(sorry for my english is so bad) 🙂

If that's the case, I'd request you to contact HP's phone support team for further assistance.

 

HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  Open link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/ 

 

Enter Product number or select to auto detect* Scroll down to "Still need help?

 

Complete the form to select your contact options"* Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get a Case & phone number.

 

They will be happy to assist you immediately. If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.

I understand you are in need of support,

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

 

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues? 

 

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned below:

 

Connect an external headphones or speakers and check whether it works fine with them.

 

Try performing a driver rollback. Follow the steps:

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Right-click the device for which you want to roll back to the previous version of the driver, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Drivers tab.
  4. Click Roll Back Driver.
  5. In the Driver Package rollback dialog box, click Yes.

Let me know how that pans out. 🙂

you ask more detail. i try give more detail with my good english 😄

 

i was use windows 7 home premium 64 bit and i have not speaker problem. it was working with windows 7.

 

i install windows 10 64 bit and i have speaker problem now. hp pavilion dv6-6010st not support windows 10 drivers. i search hp forum and i install IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio for use beats audio.

 

now; i can use speakers and headphone without problems. (speakers and headphone working now)

But just right-down speark not working 😕 other speakers working perfect. 

 

right - down speaker (i marked red circle at the printscreen picture) why not working? i install wrong driver?
