Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have big problem with microphone in my laptop Hp Vivtus 15-fb0232nw with Windows 10. Laptop dosen't see any microphone at all. Whe I am open audio inputs and outputs there in device menager is no such thing as microphone. I tried to upgrade audio drivers but on website there isn't any driver for Windows 10. I used windows troubleshoot but got info there is no problem. Microphone is available only when is pluged another device with microphone. Built-in microphone was never used beacuse it just isn't working.

the windows 11 driver should work on windows 10, try these steps

 

go to the device manager, then click on Sound, video and game controllers, uninstall the Realtek driver, it will ask if you want to remove the software, check the box, accept and then restart the device, then install the next sound driver.

a tip, when a device was designed for windows 11 it is best to use that version of windows because in the future it will have many upgrade problems.

Unfortunately that doesn't help. I'll consider changing to Windows 11 if that's the cause of the problem.
