Hello, @CRISTINA2017 – Hope you are well 🙂

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I see that you are facing audio issues with your HP Pavilion notebook. I will certainly do my best to assist you with this issue 🙂

Let’s first try to run the HP guided solutions which will help you to fix the issue on most scenarios. Follow the steps here: http://hp.care/2dp5pwy

If the issue persists, try the below-mentioned steps:

  1. Select the Start  button, type Device Manager, and select it from the list of results.
  2. Expand "Sound, video and game controllers" from the list, then right-click on the audio driver (Realtek), and select Uninstall
  3. Select the box which says "Delete driver software from this PC".
  4. Close the device manager once the uninstall is complete.
  5. Now, click http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp78501-79000/sp78885.exe  to download and update the latest Realtek drivers.
  6. Restart the PC and check again.

Let me know how that goes. I’ll watch for your reply!

Good luck 🙂
