HP ENVY Notebook m7-u109dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a Dolby Atmos (hdmi-arc) speaker system and a Dolby Vision monitor while having in mind to connect them to my HP Envy Notebook M7-u109dx on which all my software & files are set up since the last 4 years.

But I came to find out right now that my notebook is lacking these necessary drivers to either output or passthrough Dolby Atmos & Vision, and I'll have to install them individually.

I have no idea where to find those drivers with the specifications for my notebook, and i need help.

@Barmisko

It is not a default app/software product from HP. Your machine won't get it automatically, you have to pay for it . Please use the following link

I appreciate your response very much sir, but I don't think I need an education on the difference & meanings of all different types of object based audio.

And I've also seen before that page you sent me from "Avit pro tools, Dolby Atmos Suite", and sadly it's not the solution in my case because even if I buy that expensive Dolby Atmos Suite from Avit, my laptop will still be lacking the software to actually transfer the Dolby Atmos encoded sound information from the application to the HDMI output port.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough in my first post. My only issue here is that my PC won't output any audio that's above two stereo channels.

Even when I try to connect my 9.2.4 channel speaker system through HDMI-arc, it still outputs a ddp5.1 or a TrueHD 7.1 file like a typical stereo pcm without any effects of Dolby Atmos.

I tried so many solutions that I found online, but most of them were old, and I couldn't find much on the specific Notebook version that I'm using.

Fyi the basic built-in drivers that my Notebook uses is Intel HD graphics 620, and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX.

The default audio driver that transfers audio information from the applications to the all the output methods is the Intel(r) Display Audio driver.

I tried adding other audio transfer drivers too, such as Conexant ISST Audio and FxSound Audio enhancer, but it didn't unlock the rest of the channels, (I tried quite few Realtek driver versions that seemed to match my device, but all of them came back with an error).

I also tried to install Dolby Home Theater v4 but it said it needs Dolby PCEE Drivers to be installed on my device before installing the actual application. So I installed the necessary Dolby PCEE Drivers, and even after installing it, i was still unable to install Dolby Home Theater v4, cuz the popup on Dolby PCEE to be installed still came in. I even restarted and updated my whole system software, but it still wouldn't let me proceed to install the Dolby Home Theater v4 claiming that I haven't installed Dolby PCEE yet.

I'm tired and exhausted of all this, I can't efford at the moment new expensive hardware, and I really need to have this done asap. I believe that a solution for my problem really exists, and if you can help me find it I'm sure it'll finally help so many people who have this same problem!
