Hi @RayComICT,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand how important it is to get your audio working properly again, especially when Realtek drivers misbehave after a Windows 11 update. You're doing the right thing by seeking alternatives, but I want to make sure you're safe and supported.
⚠️ A Word of Caution
The link you provided (necacom.net) is not an official HP or Realtek source, and while it may offer working drivers, it could also pose risks like:
- Incompatibility with your specific HP model.
- Security vulnerabilities from unsigned or modified drivers.
- Loss of warranty support if unofficial drivers cause hardware issues.
Safer Alternative: Official HP Realtek Audio Drivers
You can download the Realtek High-Definition Audio drivers directly from HP’s support site, tailored to your PC model:
Just enter your HP PC model, select Windows 11, and download the latest Realtek High Definition Audio driver listed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
