HP ProBook 6570B7
Hello, Dear Forum members and masters.
I have an HP ProBook 6570B7 model laptop.
There is no sound from my computer.
I only get sound when I plug in headphones.
I am using Windows 10 22H2 64 bit.
First I downloaded and installed the shared sound card driver for my model. This driver was recommended for Windows 8.1 and was released in 2012. When I selected Windows 10, I couldn't find any drivers.
Sound settings changed when I installed this driver. After selecting the default devices, the sound came and went for a few seconds.
I thought the driver was old. Again, I installed version 6.10.6199 from the HP site with the redirection of a third-party site. This version was also released in 2014.
I am not getting any sound right now. No problem when using headphones.
What could cause this problem? The most recent; Where can I find the IDT High Definition Audio For HP driver for Windows 10? Thank you.

Hi:

I don't think you will be able to get the sound to work on your notebook, but you can try this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook and hope that it works on yours too.

What do you suggest to do for this model?

Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions.

The notebook was not supported by HP for W10 and the audio not working may be part of why it wasn't.

Many forum members have problems with the IDT audio and those models.

You could try clean installing W10 and see if Microsoft installs a working audio driver.

Otherwise, if you can, go back to Windows 7, until you can buy a newer model notebook.

Hello.
I installed Windows 8.1 on the device.
I downloaded and installed the driver for Windows 8.1 from the HP site.
Unfortunately, there is no sound without headphones. I heard sound from the loudspeaker for a while while Windows 10 was installed, but it stopped again when the computer restarted.
