Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I getting the message "No Audio Output Device is Installed" and I can't locate an audio driver at HP that works. How can I get an adio driver for an HP Pavilion dv6-2150us Entertainment Notebook?

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try this W10 IDT audio driver from a newer model notebook and hope it works on yours too.

 

IDT High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver

Restart the PC after installing the driver.

 

Sometimes this driver will set the PC headphone jack as the default audio output, so if you end up with no sound, check the Windows control panel>hardware and sound>sound>manage audio devices and select the PC speakers as the default output.
