What is your HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dh1xxx? For example
HP Pavilion x360 - 14-dh1018tu
Your machine could be very similar with the one above. It is a new machine, did you change anything ? I use the above machine to answer your question.
Please do a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.
(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105738.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.
