I'm doing fine thanks.  How about you?  I still have not been able to get the audio working and have tried everything you suggested.  Is there a chance it's not fixable?

Hello @Karon4

Please open windows device manager.

You can open Device Manager quickly by typing devmgmt.msc into RUN or SEARCH and pressing ENTER.

I will look something like this:

Question 1) What is listed below "Sound, video and games controllers" ?

Question 2) Is there a yellow exclamation mark on it  ?

- Right click on your "Unknown device" or listed audio device and select properties.
- Click on the Details Tab.
- Drop the 'Property' box until you find 'Hardware Id's".

- Copy the Hardware IDs value.

Sounds, video and games controllers is not on the list in my device manager.  I'm pretty sure I got to the right place because the rest of the list looked similar to what you posted.  Thanks again for sticking with this.

Sorry.  I think I clicked the wrong thing yesterday.  Lets see if I can do it right this morning.
