I upgraded from windows 7 home basic to 10 home and after upgrading there were 2 problems,
1. AMD Radeon HD 6470m detected as 7400m series but it is still working except for dxva video playing support.
2.SRS premium sound setting not working, none of the equiliser works, sound through headphones feels like mono.

Hi @Pream,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!
I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your HP Pavilion g6-1201tx Notebook and issues with your Graphics drivers and your sound not working correctly. You could try using the Windows Update Troubleshooting tool to fix any updates that have not come through for Windows. Please restart the Notebook twice to make sure all update have been completed!
You could try -
1. Right click the Speaker icon in the bottom right corner by your time.
2. Click Playback Devices.
3. Click Speakers.
4. Click properties.
5. Click the advanced tab on the Properties window.
6. Change the Default Format drop-down to the highest quality.
7. Apply the properties.
8. Click OK to close the properties window. Restart the Notebook and test the sound.
Please let me know how this goes.

It says i already have the updated driver, but it is 6.10.6425.0 version and dated on year 2012
and i tried keeping the highest quality and yet, the SRS Premium Sound setting has no effect, none of the equliser preset works
<edit> I did some searching and found that IDT audio is sold to Tempo Semiconductor, Inc. and HP gave update for some laptops that had IDT to Tempo branded drivers, but for my laptop model hp has not released any such drivers, will i get a driver update for windows 10 to support the Altec Lansing speakers SRS Premium Sound?
