Hi,
After updating windows my audio device stopped working.
I can see on the sound logo on the bottom with an X mark on it.
When I go to the device manager it shows me on other devices Intel High Definition Audio with a yellow warning and it says the driver for this device are not installed (code 28).
I tried searching for the driver automatically (not finding anything), tried windows update, tried installing it manually, and nothing helped. I even tried to upgrade my BIOS. still not working.
I tried using HP support tools, and it doesn't see the issue. it tells me my headphone (Bluetooth) are the default sound device
.
what else can I do?

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest W11 Realtek audio driver from your notebook's support page.
Driver - HP ZBook Power G7 Mobile Workstation | HP® Customer Support
Within that driver file folder are the drivers for the Intel HD audio.
