Bought this laptop new a month ago and having sound problems. Sometimes sound is unusually quiet when at full volume but then will suddenly burst into full volume after a few minutes of playing something.
Other times, sound is louder out of one speaker than the other, but then will correct itself after a few moments of playing something.
Sometimes when you unmute (F5) it plays loudly, but then will drop quietly again. Something isn't right.
Windows is up-to-date and all drivers are updated. Really disappointed.

Your machine has Intel Gen 10 processor. Please perform a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.
(a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112100.exe
(b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
(c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
(d) Reboot again.
Regards.

@Banhien, I am still experiencing the same issues. Sound levels are dropping and rising themselves.
It's worth noting though, when I uninstalled the Realtek driver, and then rebooted, it re-appeared when I went into Device Manager as if it auto-installs on reboot. But I installed the download anyway. Not sure if there is another way to avoid this automatically re-installing on reboot?
