Microsoft Windows 11

Recently, I reinstalled the laptop and now the audio from the internal speakers isn't working; there are no issues with Bluetooth or through the cable.

I have Windows 11 24H2 26100.3624, audio driver version 6.0.9712.1, and BIOS F.29 Rev.A.

I mention the BIOS because, if I'm not mistaken, Microsoft had to send this person an update for both the driver and BIOS, and I'm not sure if it’s related: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Audio/Loss-of-audio-with-WIN-Update/td-p/9349920 .

There are no problems via the laptop audio jack or Bluetooth, which means the audio driver and audio controller driver (bus) are working.

Try looking in Windows settings, System > sound category. See the default output.
