The internal microphone of the HP Victus 16-D0, with Windows 11 23H2.
The microphone doesn't show up in the devices list: NVIDIA High Definition Audio, NVIDIA Virtual Audio, and Realtek Audio are listed, but not the microphone.
In the audio input and output settings, the following are listed: Realtek Audio Stereo Mix and Realtek Audio Speaker.
I tried installing the HP drivers, but it still doesn't work.
(I've already done this step, but it remains the same): "To allow apps to access the microphone, select the Start button, then go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone. Then, turn on 'Allow apps to access your microphone.'"
I tested the microphone in Windows, and it says it detected zero sound.
I updated the drivers, and nothing changed.
I also tried: "Go to Device Manager, then Audio and Video Controllers, and uninstall the Realtek driver. If it asks to remove the software from the device, check the box to accept. After that, restart the computer and install the following driver: ."https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp139501-140000/sp139794.exe
But it didn't work.
In Sound > Recording, "Realtek Audio Stereo Mix Default Device" is listed.
The sound (speaker) works perfectly.
