Hello everyone,
I have two problems that are probably connected:
1. my internal microphone is no longer recognized. It always shows the error message "Microphone is not connected", but it is an internal microphone. It is also not displayed in the device manager.
2. i can either turn my internal speaker on or off at 100%, there is no volume level in between (it shows volume 8 for example, but the sound is still at level 100).
I have tried everything (installing all available drivers, checking all settings in the device manager, using all automatic troubleshooting tools from Windows and HP etc.) I have even reset my laptop to factory settings, but this has not changed these problems and I was not able to install the internal microphone again and fix the speaker problem.
Here are some screenshots (in German, but I hope it helps anyway). The problems started a few months ago (I suspect after a driver update), but I haven't had time to look at them more closely since then. Now I've had the time, but I haven't been able to solve them. Let me know if you need any more information.
Thanks a lot!
