Hello
I hope someone can help me… before shutting my laptop down it notified me that shut down would take 3mins due to updates. Later, when I opened my laptop the sound wasn’t working and it hasn’t worked since. It does work on my Bluetooth headphones but doesn’t recognise the internal b&o speakers anymore. The laptop says the audio device is not connected. When I switch on my Bluetooth headphones, it connects and plays sound on them but has no recognised speaker.
I have already tried:
updating all updates
restarting
troubleshooting
Control centre and selecting speakers (they do not appear there, my Bluetooth headphones do)
Installing Realtek (this does not run when restarting)
Unmuting - the laptop does not let me turn up the volume (unless connected to my headphones)
I’ve been to control centre, devices, system controls and settings and nothing I’ve found online works. The laptop keeps telling me there are no speakers connected.
any ideas on what I can do?

This "no speakers" issue started for me immediately after I installed the latest MS update late on 5/10/23.

I've tried THREE times to uninstall that update but it keeps getting reinstalled without my assistance.
